Frequently asked questions

The things people email and message us about most.

What time are you open?

Every day, from 08:00 until 3 am. The kitchen and the delivery window close earlier. See the contact page for the exact times.

Where exactly are you?

Laodikias 16 & Nimfeou 1, on Brazil Square (Plateia Vrazilias) in Ilisia, Athens 115 28. Five minutes from the Hilton and the Megaron, ten minutes on foot from Evangelismos metro.

Is there a dress code?

No formal dress code. People come from work during the week and dress up at the weekend. If you are coming for the night rather than for dinner, most people make an effort.

Do I need to book?

For brunch and during the day you can usually walk in. For dinner, for a weekend night and for any group, book. The room fills.

What kind of food is it?

South American fusion: Brazilian sushi, cuts from the grill, ceviche, tacos and bao, plus a full breakfast and brunch menu. It is not a churrascaria and it is not a Japanese restaurant. It is the confluence of both, which is what the name is about.

What is Brazilian sushi?

Sushi as it developed in Brazil, where São Paulo has the largest Japanese community outside Japan. Mango, cream cheese, passion fruit and crispy onion alongside the raw fish. It has been a real culinary tradition for about a century.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Yes. There is a vegetarian section on the menu, plus salads, sides and several of the starters. Tell the team about any allergy when you book or when you sit down.

Can you host a birthday or a corporate event?

Yes, that is a large part of what we do: corporate events, birthdays and private parties, from a table for ten through to a full buyout. Send an enquiry through the events page and you will hear back within a working day.

Is there live music?

Yes. Live bands and resident DJs, running until 3 am. The current weekly programme is being confirmed and will be published on the Noche Tropical page.

Do you deliver?

Yes, through e-food and Wolt, across Ilisia, Pangrati and nearby. The delivery window is shorter than the venue's opening hours.

How much is dinner?

Around €40–50 a head for dinner with a drink, depending heavily on what you order. Brunch and daytime are considerably less.

Can I see the venue before booking?

Yes. The whole building is online as a 3D walkthrough, which is worth two minutes if you are deciding on a venue for an event.
