A day at Iguazu
Breakfast at eight. Brunch through the morning. Lunch. Then the hours most kitchens in Athens go quiet: coffee, dessert, a first cocktail on the terrace while the light goes gold over the square. Then dinner, then the band, then the DJ, and the lights are still on at three.
Nothing shuts in between. There is no gap when you cannot get a coffee, no gap when you cannot get a plate. That is the single most useful thing about this place and the thing nobody knows about it.
The afternoon, treated as an occasion
Coffee and desserts at five in the afternoon is not a filler between lunch and dinner here. It is a reason to sit in a jungle on a Tuesday with the terrace doors open, and it is the quietest, best hour in the building.
Where to sit
The courtyard faces the park and gets the morning. The upper terrace has the hanging garden and gets the evening. Inside, the main room is where the gorilla is, and where it stays cool in August.
